After a few posts here and there I thought I'd finally start up a gnoblog to show what I've been doing. I thought about going for one of the tribes in the book and finally settled on the Goldtooth tribe. Hey, I like the Greasus model!
I'm currently working on my two units of Ironguts...
Looking really, really impressive The skin is okay (looks a little flat...), the gold is good, the blood is excellent! Really fresh-looking and gruesome

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.
And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

That may be in part down to my (lack of) camera skills and lighting! The faces do seem quite highlighted when I've painted them, but I admit they look a bit flat in the photo. Hmmn.
Anyway, thanks for the comments - I'll try and have some better photos up in a while!
I really like the models you've painted so far. As you already said, the maneater is simple but effective, and i really like the colour scheme. Looks a bit Khorneish. I also like to greasus model, so look forward to you painting him. He has some awesome special rules, albeit a points cost to match. With regards to making the tribe standout, the use of relevant tattoos, gold teeth (as already mentioned) and added bling immediately come to mind. Also use of accesories as found on the paymaster maneater http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=Individual&code=99060213017&orignav=13 would look good, treasure chests and the like. Although it's hard to imagine standard ogres getting much loot when greasus is around. Think about what ogres would do with lots of gold...my guess is buy food and weapons, to maybe make them fat and greedy looking (like greasus like tribe )
The list looks fine, albeit a little small - most people would argue about the bulls and that you don't have enough ironguts but I'm a believer in bulls. The only thing I don't like is the third maneater and the two leadbelchers. Three maneaters can be overkill considering how fast they're killed - you can expect them to get all of enemy's attention. And only one unit of leadbelchers is usually extremely unreliable - their reliability goes up exponentially with every additional unit.

My siegebreaker butcher. I greenstuffed the tongue and belly and a bit of skin for him to store his knife in on the back and I'm really happy generally with how he turned out. I think I'm going to try and darken the stone on the weapon to look a bit more obsidian like, to fit in with the item description in the book.
I also tried to strap on a load of accessories to fit in with the 'walking larder' idea!
Purple is looking awesome It's probably my favourite colour to paint, because it is probably the easiest colour to paint IMHO

My first unit of bulls based and ready to go. I'm going to add a few more bits and bobs to the bases, perhaps some skulls, enemy weapons and enemy heads.
