Well, this is my Gnoblog for my DoC army, for the on-going "Tale of 'X' Gamers" event here at the Stronghold :) I will be looking at going from 0pts, to 2,500pts over the next 6 months :)

Technically I already have a legitimate 1,000pt army (roughly), but not much of it was put together, and none of it was painted... Except my Slaanesh Herald (which I stripped, and am starting again...) :)

I will get an army list up on here soon, but I can't really say when :) Doesn't really matter yet though, as the event doesn't technically start for almost another 2 weeks :)

Quick update: Forgot to mention, I'm using a VC Corpse Cart (straight outta the box) as a "Count As" Herald of Nurgle on Palanquin, and am using another Corpse Cart (yeah, I bought two of the things, I love the model that much :D) in a conversion for another Herald of Nurgle on Palanquin :D I'm rather proud of this conversion, and pics will be soon to follow :)

By the way dude, I was tempted to enter your Ku'gath model at GAmesday UK this year, but weren't sure if it'd have been okay by you, so I didn't :)

Hey JJ I'v allready replied to your post in th main thread but due to the confusion I seem to have caused thought I'd better warn you here. Then no one can blame me :P

By the end of this month

Competitors MUST have there gnoblog thread up and running (no problems here)

Have there first test peice painted, for colour schemes (existing armies should paint a new model type or two old ones) - Worth 2 points if completed fully

Have a competitive list made for there points total and some small explanatory tactics - Each part worth 1 point

Oh right, thanks for letting me know dude :) I will have the list up later today, and will get working on the test model :)What do we classify the end of the month? This calendar month, or a month from now? :)

Looking forward to watching this progress JJ, as i do with all your projects.  Coincedentally i started a sort of nurgle army, but it's tiny, and more just because i like the figures. 

I love the Big Fat Uncle from  scibor, which i've pretty much finished painting. It's just a shame you couldn't enter it in GD, or official tournies.

Feed me army lists and pictures please  :D

Decided on a 3,000pt list, after upgrades and all that ;)

Not decided on my Greater Daemon yet :| Any advice would be much appreciated :) I'd love to field a KoS, but I don't currently posses one, and don't see myself having one any time soon, seeing as I hate GW's one :|

Total (based upon the use of most expensive GD); 2,995pts :) However, due to points being freed up should I opt for a cheaper GD, this list is only rough :)

Rough tactics; Flesh Hounds on one flank, Seekers on the other, hoping to execute a "pincer" type thing :) I'd be putting the HoN into the PB block, to create the "Nurgle Bunker" ™, and use it as a tarpit/anvil type unit, holding enemy units locked in combat, and then - hopefully- getting a flank charge with the 'crushers :) Horrors will act as a static wizard, only moving if necessary; just throwing the old spell out, hoping to draw out those dastardly scrolls and DD :) The Daemonettes and Bloodletters will be expendable combat units, with no real plan, but charging at the enemy, trying to get inot CC :) The HoT will be bulking out the magic phase, and could prove crucial depending on what GD I take, and the enemy I take :) That's about it really :)

Right, having traded off my The Masque model, and acquiring a new one, after a change of heart, I had quite a problem putting it together :| Way too fiddly :( I also put together my second unit of Daemonettes, and repainted my converted herald of Slaanesh, after stripping it using surgical spirit :)

Same colour scheme as last time, but used blending, slight highlights and my new GW ink set :)

The banner is by no means finished, hence why it looks flat (because it is ;))

I hope this fulfills all of this month's goals :)
