Clan Hestiska: EverHunger's Skaven (Mini-)Horde for Tale of 4+ Gamers

Seeing all these models being built, converted and painted so lovingly, and a deep down feeling of competitiveness, I have decided to start up my Skaven force. I have all the models purchased... But completely unbuilt. Also, I have no real experience painting nor do I believe I have any talent in this art. So it will likely be painful at the beginning, but I might be able to pick up my skills. I felt like getting to 1k before Christmas, but am unsure if that is too lax or too tough, so I will get as much done as possible and as good looking as possible. As I have no models built, undercoated, etc, I will post my 1k army list:

Which comes out to a total of 999pts. The plan is to have the general(WE)'s unit in the center behind the slave unit. The other clanrats and monks are on either side of the main unit, with the Night Runners in front of the Monks for screening. And on either flank there are the Rats and Ogres. This isn't meant to be a competitive list; this is just using what I have as well as some extra clannies, night runners and a BSB. Wish me luck

I'm looking forward to seeing your army  I would've gone with Skaven myself if there weren't so many freaking models to paint...

Do you have a colour scheme in mind?

I was thinking some exotic colours to represent the clan being near Cathay and Nippon. I might add some samurai or ninja conversions on some of my leaders and maybe do some other stuff. The colours I had in mind was pruple and gold like colour scheme. I will hopefully have a test model picture up for the end of the weekend.
